My name is Nico Engler // TENSHI. I am a german Visual artist based in Berlin.

I tell stories through visual media, mostly on motion picture film and photography. I started filming with visual travel experiences. Then I evolved into shooting music videos. Now my focus is the post production and visual effects that make the story come to life.

In my work I experiment with different influences and inspirations ranging from my own experiences as well as nature, architecture, pop culture, numerous different genres, movies and music videos. That's why the field of possibilities I portray are endless.
I fuse the play of psychedelic colors as well as the mood of cinematic shots or old vhs shots with different visual effects to create truly unique visual experiences. This unconventionally combination of different artistic themes and personal style makes my work bold and experimental and eye-catching.

I like to evolve with travelling since that is where my passion started. In my opinion creative work should always be explorative and intuitive. This is why I believe it is important to keep an open mind to let new ideas and possibilities grow.

Apart from Berlin where I work the most, I have also filmed projects in Helsinki, Norway and Sweden and worked with different artists from New York, Floria and many other parts of the US.

After many years working throughout the industry, Banksfilms Berlin was thrilled to welcome Nico Engler to the team. He bring a strong background and exceptional skill set to His role as Cameraman and Editor.

Make-up Artist

What do you see when you close your eyes? I see colors. Since I was a child I always had that one passion : painting and discovering new motives and structures. That’s why I became a Creative Hair and Make Up Artist. I worked for the Fashion week in Berlin and behind one of the most popular series in Germany called “Gute Zeiten schlechte Zeiten.“ Many other big jobs like advertising for TV, red carpet look for German actresses, music shoots, bridal looks and so on are a part of me. Working for Loreal Paris and MAC helped me to grow and learn more about the most important products. I see art wherever I go. So what do you see when you close your eyes?

Since joining our team a few years ago, Kate Khaiauri has brought a fresh perspective and approach to her position as our Make-up Artist. Now, Banksfilms Berlin simply wouldn’t be the same without her.

Nformi Rinus Ngwang

Record producer

Nformi Rinus Ngwang, born on 19 June 1992, artistically known as Spirit-T  or Dj iflow is a Cameroonian singer,songwriter, producer. He hails from the North-west region of Cameroon precisely.
His musical career germinated at the age of twelve when he was still in secondary school in his hometown (Bamenda). At this time, he started as a freestyle rapper, always doing freestyle during break time in class with his friends hitting the bench to produce rhythms considered then to be instrumentals. He later participated in radio freestyle Programs every Sunday until he started writing his own lyrics and later enrolled for online courses on the music production. After he obtained the advanced level in 2011, He decided to take music and showbiz fulltime studying whatever he needed to have a full grasp and knowledge in the domain .He later learned how to play the piano which will make him a better music producer.


    However, he further shaped his musical career in “Cejay Productions”, an audiovisual production house in Bamenda. This was a platform where he discovered most of his musical potentials. For two years, he worked as a producer (beat maker) in the recording studio of Cejay productions, recording numerous songs and testing his ability in different musical genres.
He later traveled around other towns in Cameroon working as a freelance producer.  He gradually developed his identity in afro pop by combining reggae, makossa, njang, hip-hop, R&B, soul and Afro music. This went along way to stamping his musical flow and identifying his niche which we all hear today and appreciate in his songs and productions. His over 10 years of experience as a producer has made his delivery always top notch.

He has been producing songs and albums for so many upcoming artists and some established A-list urban artist from Cameroon like Mink’s, leberger, the legendery Eko Roosevelt and many others from the Diaspora.
